Volare belongs to the Dutch firm Kubbinga of Volendam, a company dating back to 1948, and has specialised in one thing: children's bicycles. Design is done entirely in the Netherlands and its bikes are sold in more than 22 countries.
It is one of the largest character licence holders in the category: Disney, Frozen, Spider-Man, Cars, Batman and Paw Patrol. Every model is tested by accredited bodies to European safety legislation.

- How do I choose a size?
- By the child's height and wheel size in inches: 10-12 for the earliest years, 14-16 for ages 4-6, 20 for 6-8 and 24 for 8-10. Dimensions are listed on each product.
- Does it arrive assembled?
- It arrives largely assembled — usually only the handlebars, saddle and stabilisers remain. Instructions are included.
- Are they safe?
- Models are tested by accredited laboratories to current European legislation. They include reflectors, a chain guard and an adjustable saddle.
- Do the stabilisers come off?
- Yes, they are removable — so the same bike stays with the child after those first lessons.
