The under-display sensor
Galaxy flagships use an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor beneath the display, reading your finger through sound rather than light. That means the thickness and material of the glass directly affect unlocking: a random thick protector can make the sensor fail repeatedly.
So read the product description: protectors declared compatible with under-display sensors are engineered for exactly this. If you buy one that does not mention it, you may need to re-register your fingerprint after fitting.
Curved displays: why flat glass is not enough
The Ultra models and several S Plus phones have displays that curve at the sides. Flat glass bonds only in the centre and lifts at the edges, collecting dust. The 47 hydrogel films we stock follow the curve and are the right answer here, or alternatively a full-coverage glass made for that specific model.
On the Z Fold and Z Flip foldables the inner flexible screen never takes tempered glass — only factory films. Glass goes on the outer display only.

The 216 lens protectors matter particularly on Galaxy phones, because the S Ultra cameras protrude individually — with no single island shielding them. Each ring fits separately and is almost invisible.

- Will fingerprint unlocking still work after fitting?
- Yes, if the glass is declared compatible with under-display sensors. After fitting it is worth deleting and re-registering your fingerprint so the sensor learns it through the new layer.
- I have an S25 Ultra with a curved screen. Glass or film?
- A hydrogel film or a full-coverage glass designed specifically for that model. A plain flat protector will lift at the edges.
- Can I put glass on the inner screen of a Z Fold?
- No. The flexible display only takes factory films — tempered glass will crack on the first fold. The outer screen takes glass normally.
- Does S24 glass fit the S25?
- No, the dimensions differ. Nor does S24 glass fit the S24 Plus or S24 Ultra. Use the model filter.
- Do I need camera protection on a Galaxy?
- On the S Ultra especially, because the lenses protrude individually with no protective island and touch any surface first.
