- Trade & DIY: DeWalt and Makita for daily use, Einhell and Stanley for the home.
- Cordless or corded: both, with the trade-offs of each explained below.
- Kärcher pressure washers: for the yard, the car and outdoor surfaces.
- Warranty & support: official products with local warranty.
Cordless or corded?
Cordless means freedom of movement and no extension lead — ideal for assembly, small repairs and work up a ladder. The cost lives in the battery: stay on one platform per brand, because batteries are not compatible across manufacturers and the second tool in the same range is far cheaper bought bare.
Corded means constant power with no runtime limit, at a lower price. It is the right choice for sanders, larger saws and anything that runs for long stretches in one place.
What to choose
- For the home — an 18V cordless drill-driver and a bit set cover 90% of jobs.
- For renovation — add a hammer drill or rotary hammer for concrete and brick.
- For woodwork — a jigsaw or circular saw and a sander — corded wins here.
- For outdoors — a Kärcher pressure washer, plus Einhell and Greenworks garden tools.

Frequently asked questions
- Do batteries from one brand fit another?
- No. Each manufacturer has its own battery platform and there is no cross-brand compatibility. That is why it pays to pick one range and build on it.
- What does "bare tool" or "body only" mean?
- That the tool is sold on its own, without battery or charger. It is clearly cheaper and makes sense if you already own batteries from the same range.
- Which battery voltage do I need?
- 12V is light and enough for driving screws and assembly. 18V or 20V is the standard for general use and drilling. Above that is mainly for trade use.
- Do the tools come with a warranty?
- Yes, products are official and carry the distributor warranty. The period is stated in each product’s specifications.
- Can I collect from the shop?
- Yes. For heavy and bulky tools, collection from the Thessaloniki shop is also the most convenient option.
Before buying a second cordless tool, check which platform your first one belongs to. If it matches, buy the bare version and save a significant amount.
