Manga & Comics
Comics, Manga & Art Books
Three worlds in one category: comics and graphic novels, manga in volumes and omnibus editions, and official art books from video games, anime and film. Printed editions for anyone who wants to hold the world they love.
- Comics: graphic novels, trade paperbacks, omnibus and deluxe collector editions.
- Manga: series volumes, omnibus editions and box sets — read right to left.
- Art books: concept art and design work from video games, anime and film.
- In English: international editions are published in their English version.
What are you after?
Comics & graphic novels
Western editions come in several formats, and the difference matters when you are building a collection:
The formats
- Single issue — the individual comic, thin and collectible. Cover condition matters.
- Trade paperback (TPB) — a softcover volume collecting a complete story — the easiest way into a series.
- Omnibus — a hardcover doorstop of several hundred pages, usually covering a whole era of a run.
- Deluxe / Absolute — oversized format, quality paper, extra material and sketches. The shelf editions.
Manga
Japanese manga are published in volumes (tankobon) collecting a series chapter by chapter. You will find single volumes, omnibus editions combining two or three volumes, and box sets holding a complete series.
Two things surprise newcomers: manga are read right to left, as published in Japan — the book opens from what a Western reader would call the back. And they are classified by audience rather than genre: shonen for a young male readership, shojo for a young female one, seinen and josei for adults.
Our range includes series such as Psycho-Pass: Inspector Shinya Kogami and the Astro Boy Omnibus.
Art books
Official hardcover editions showing how a world was designed: concept art, sketches, character designs and notes from the creators. They are not strategy guides — no walkthroughs, maps or solutions.
From video games: The World of Cyberpunk 2077, Creating a Champion for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Art of Ghost of Tsushima, The Art of The Last of Us Part II, the Mass Effect Trilogy Expanded Edition, World of Warcraft Chronicle, plus Fallout 4, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Assassin's Creed Shadows, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Rust and Super Mario Odyssey.
From anime and film: the art book for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Plus anniversary editions from collector lines, such as Mythic Legions: The First 10 Year Book and The Art of Super7.
A figure with its comic

Frequently asked questions
- What language are the editions in?
- English. Art books, comics and manga are published internationally in their English edition. The language is always stated on each product.
- What is the difference between a trade paperback and an omnibus?
- A trade paperback is a softcover volume collecting one complete story — ideal for starting a series. An omnibus is hardcover and far larger, with hundreds of pages covering a whole era.
- How are manga read?
- Right to left, as published in Japan. The book opens from what a Western reader would consider the back, and panels follow the same direction. Most editions carry a note on the last page.
- What do shonen, shojo and seinen mean?
- They describe the intended readership rather than the genre: shonen for a young male audience, shojo for a young female one, seinen and josei for adults.
- What is inside an art book?
- Concept art, sketches, character and environment designs, and notes from the creators on the design process. It is not a strategy guide.
- Do you carry Greek editions?
- The category covers mainly international English-language editions. If you are after something specific, get in touch and we will see whether we can source it.
- Can I collect my order from the shop?
- Yes, choose collection at checkout, with no shipping cost.
For comics, start with a trade paperback rather than single issues. For manga, start with volume one or an omnibus. For an art book, start with the game you genuinely loved — it is a gift that never duplicates. If you would rather something for the shelf, see Statues.
