Fellow – Specialty coffee equipment
American coffee design company
Fellow designs specialty coffee equipment: grinders, gooseneck kettles with temperature control, and insulated mugs.
The Corvo EKG kettle with its narrow spout allows controlled flow for pour over, and sets to the degree — because water temperature noticeably changes taste. The Ode grinder is built for filter brewing.

Frequently asked questions about Fellow
- Why a gooseneck kettle?
- It allows slow, controlled water flow over the coffee. In pour over the flow determines extraction — an ordinary kettle gives no control.
- Why does temperature matter?
- Water that is too hot scorches the coffee and adds bitterness; too cool leaves the flavour weak. The 90-96 degree range is standard for filter.
- What difference does a good grinder make?
- It grinds evenly. Uneven grind means some particles over-extract and others not at all — and the taste comes out muddled.
- Is it for professionals?
- It is aimed at anyone brewing with care at home, though it is also used in cafés.
