Find your ink by its code
Each printer takes specific cartridges, and the surest route is the ink code. You will find it on the old cartridge, inside the printer lid or in its settings. Search for it on the site and you will see only what fits.
For HP we cover codes 300, 301, 302, 304 and 305, for Canon the PG-540, PG-545 and CL-541, and for Brother the LC-3617, LC-3619 and LC-525/529 series.
Ink-tank printers (EcoTank, InkBenefit)
Epson EcoTank and Brother InkBenefit printers do not take cartridges but bottles that refill the printer's tanks. One bottle prints thousands of pages, so the cost per page drops dramatically.
For Epson we stock bottles 103, 104, T111 and T664, and for Brother BTD60, BTD100, BT5000 and BT6000. Each bottle fits a specific printer series — the code is shown on the printer here too.
Original or compatible?
Original ink gives guaranteed compatibility, consistent colour quality and no "unrecognised cartridge" warnings. It is the right choice for photos, business documents and printers under warranty. For everyday printing at lower cost, see the compatible inks.
Frequently asked questions
- Where do I find my ink code?
- On the empty cartridge, inside the printer when you open the lid, or in the printer's settings and app.
- What does XL mean?
- High yield: more ink in the same cartridge, so more pages and a lower cost per page. It fits the same printer as the standard version.
- Does Epson 103 ink fit every EcoTank?
- No. Each EcoTank series takes a specific bottle code, and the bottles have different nozzles so they cannot go into the wrong printer.
- Do they have an expiry date?
- Yes, original inks carry a "use by" date on the pack. Store them sealed, somewhere cool and upright.
