Fortnite is the one category where products can go out of date. The game changes season every two to three months, and outfits belonging to a season are lost for good.

It is called "Override", launched on 20 August 2026, and its theme is video game legends. It features characters such as Sonic, Pac-Man and Mega Man.

If a child gets excited about Sonic through Fortnite, the Sonic products are permanent – they do not expire the way outfits do.

Many assume that because it is a game with weapons, it is violent. In practice the violence is cartoonish, there is no blood, and the style is close to animation. Usual rating: twelve and up – and the products are suitable for school-age children.

What should I buy if I do not know which outfits they have?

Something with the llama – it has been in the game from the start and is not going anywhere. The Battle Bus and Peely are also safe.

Why can a figure go out of date?

Because the game changes season every two to three months, and outfits belonging to a season are lost for good. The child may no longer be able to obtain the outfit the figure depicts.

Is it too violent for a child?
