Evangelion has giant robots and looks like a children's action anime. It is not. It is a psychologically heavy story with harsh imagery. The products are of course innocent – the content is not.
At the anniversary festival in February 2026 it was officially announced that a new Evangelion series is in production. No date has been given.
For a gift: ask whether they watched the series or the films – the designs differ.

Rei Ayanami (blue hair) and Asuka (red plugsuit) sell more than the lead character. Among the robots, Eva Unit-01 – purple and green – is a design that stands alone, recognisable with no explanation.

- What is the difference between the two versions?
- Neon Genesis Evangelion is the original 1995 series; Rebuild is four films retelling the story with a different ending. The figure designs differ accordingly.
- Are new products coming?
- Yes. With a new series in production and the thirtieth-anniversary celebrations, new lines keep appearing.
