Origin and character background (Lore)

Naruto Uzumaki is the main character in the manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. A ninja trainee from the Hidden Leaf Village, he grew up isolated from the other villagers because of Kyûbi, the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within him shortly after his birth.

Despite a childhood marked by loneliness, Naruto constantly seeks to attract attention and gain recognition from his village. His goal is to become Hokage, the ninja responsible for leading and protecting Konoha.

After leaving the Ninja Academy, he joins Team 7 alongside Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, under the leadership of Kakashi Hatake. The missions and battles he experiences with his team-mates enable him to gradually develop his abilities and gain a better understanding of the importance of the bonds between shinobi.

Naruto is particularly notable for his vast reserve of chakra, his mastery of the Multi-Clone Technique and his use of the Rasengan. As his journey unfolds, he also learns to better control the power of the Kyûbi and gradually transforms the creature, once considered a curse, into a true ally.
