WINNIE THE POOH - Winnie - Bowl 640ml

Winnie the Pooh – Winnie – 640 ml bowl

Immerse yourself in the cosy world of Winnie the Pooh with this large 640 ml porcelain bowl designed by Egan under official Disney licence. Larger than the 300 ml bowls in the same collection, this bowl is ideal for cereals, salads, poke bowls, fruit, desserts or individual dishes, whilst adding a touch of decoration to the table inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood.

The exterior design features Piglet, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, surrounded by small flowers and multicoloured plant motifs. Above the characters is the inscription ‘together is always the right place’, which directly highlights the theme of friendship. The colour scheme uses soft, slightly pastel shades, with Winnie’s yellow, Piglet’s pink and Tigger’s orange set against a white background.

The interior is also decorated: a wide, honey-yellow border with a dripping effect runs along the top of the bowl, naturally evoking one of the elements most closely associated with Winnie. Despite its larger size, this product is still designed for everyday use, and Egan confirms that it is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Origin and character lore

Winnie the Pooh is one of the iconic inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. Disney describes him as a loyal friend, always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbours. His peaceful nature, his love of simple pleasures and his devotion to his friends form a large part of the identity of his world.

Among his closest friends is Piglet, small in stature but particularly generous and capable of overcoming his shyness when an adventure calls for it. Tigger is almost his opposite: exuberant, enthusiastic and always ready to share his energy with the other inhabitants of the forest.

The setting chosen by Egan thus captures the spirit of Winnie the Pooh particularly well. The three characters are gathered amongst the flowers beneath the inscription ‘together is always the right place’, transforming this bowl into a direct evocation of the friendship and camaraderie that underpin their adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood.
