Winnie the Pooh – Piglet – 300 ml bowl
Meet Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh’s famous melancholic companion, with this 300 ml porcelain bowl designed by Egan under official Disney licence. Part of the Italian brand’s Winnie the Pooh collection, it combines a compact design with a charming, colourful motif dedicated to the little donkey from the Hundred Acre Wood.
The inside of the bowl features a large portrait of Eeyore, recognisable by his blue-grey coat, long ears and characteristic expression. He is surrounded by small floral motifs and hearts drawn in a deliberately light-hearted style. A blue border with a dripping paint effect runs along the upper inner rim, whilst a thin dark border highlights the rim. The exterior remains predominantly white to maintain a simple and bright appearance.
With a capacity of 300 ml, this bowl is suitable for cereals, yoghurts, fruit, desserts or small snacks. Egan confirms that it is made from New Bone China and is dishwasher and microwave safe, making it suitable for everyday use as well as being a collectable piece of Disney tableware.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Eeyore is a small blue-grey donkey who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood alongside Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and their friends. Disney describes him as a naturally pessimistic and unenthusiastic character, but one whose loyalty to his friends remains one of his key qualities. He is particularly fond of thistles and regularly finds himself faced with a recurring problem: his tail tends to come off.
His calm, resigned and often melancholic nature contrasts sharply with Tigger’s energy or Pooh’s optimism. Behind his fatalistic remarks, Eeyore remains deeply attached to the group and shows his gratitude when his friends think of him or come to visit him.
The loss of his tail is, in fact, a recurring theme in his story. In the 2011 film *Winnie the Pooh*, the whole gang sets off in search of him after it goes missing, illustrating both Piglet’s usual bad luck and his companions’ affection for him. The soft, flower-filled design of this Egan bowl thus captures a gentler side of the character whilst retaining his instantly recognisable look.
