SPIDER-MAN BRAND NEW DAY - Spider-Man - Minico Mini Figure 15cm

Iron Studios’ MiniCo collection celebrates Spider-Man with this stylised ‘Brand New Day’ figurine. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, it captures Peter Parker in a particularly dynamic pose whilst retaining the characteristic proportions of the MiniCo range: an oversized head, large, expressive white eyes and a compact silhouette. 

Spider-Man is depicted here wearing his iconic red and blue suit, criss-crossed with the hero’s signature black web pattern. He is shown in mid-motion atop a pile of rubble and broken structures, one leg raised and his body turned as if he had just taken a running start to launch himself back into the air. Strands of web shoot out from his wrists, emphasising the sense of movement in the scene.

Measuring 15 cm in height, 12.2 cm in width and 14.2 cm in depth, this MiniCo forms a complete miniature scene rather than a simple portrait of the character. Iron Studios also notes that the piece features a hand-painted finish. It can be displayed on its own or paired with the Hulk Brand New Day MiniCo, as both models belong to the same themed collection.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Spider-Man, alias Peter Parker, is one of the major characters in the Marvel universe. A science enthusiast, Peter gains spider-like abilities after being bitten by a spider exposed to radiation. Superhuman strength, exceptional agility, the ability to cling to surfaces and the ‘spider-sense’ became the main powers he used to protect the people of New York. Marvel links his journey to the principle that has become inseparable from the character: with great power comes great responsibility. 

The name ‘Brand New Day’ also has significant historical significance in the Spider-Man comics. This era began in *The Amazing Spider-Man* from issue 546 in 2008, following the events of *One More Day*. In it, Peter enters a new status quo characterised by new adversaries, new relationships and several changes in his personal and professional life. Marvel has compiled this initial period in *Spider-Man: Brand New Day Vol. 1*. 

Iron Studios presents this MiniCo as a design inspired by the comics, with a pose intended to capture the hero’s characteristic agility and energy. The red and blue suit, the large white eyes, the webs shot from the wrists and the base made up of debris thus bring together the key visual elements that define Spider-Man.
