Hunter × Hunter — Chrollo Lucilfer S.H.Figuarts 15.5 cm
Add the enigmatic leader of the Phantom Troupe to your collection with this S.H.Figuarts articulated figure of Chrollo Lucilfer. Produced by Bandai Spirits under the Tamashii Nations brand, it captures the character’s calm and elegant appearance from Hunter × Hunter, complete with his long black cape, fur-trimmed coat and the materialised book associated with his Nen ability.
The figure officially measures approximately 15.5 cm in height. Its articulation system allows you to recreate both understated poses and scenes of Nen activation. The shoulders, arms, torso and legs can be adjusted to preserve Chrollo’s composed demeanour whilst offering a range of movement suitable for confrontations with other characters in the range.
Chrollo is depicted with his black hair slicked back, revealing the cross tattooed in the centre of his forehead. A few sculpted strands of hair frame the sides of his face. His delicate features, dark eyes and almost impassive expression reflect the composure he maintains, even when facing a particularly dangerous opponent.
His outfit consists of a dark ensemble concealed beneath a long black coat. The coat features a wide collar and light-coloured fur trim around the neck and cuffs. The fur pieces can be swapped out to accommodate different arm positions and ensure the figure’s movements are not restricted.
The large cape is one of the key elements of the figure’s silhouette. Tamashii Nations uses a flexible material combined with internal articulated parts, allowing its orientation to be adjusted and giving it volume. It can thus fall naturally behind Chrollo or fan out slightly to suggest movement.
Specialised parts allow you to recreate his famous pose with his hands tucked into his coat pockets. The interchangeable pocket elements create a more natural look than simply having his hands pressed against the garment. A classic pose with his arms out is also possible for action or dialogue scenes.
Chrollo comes with a physical book, supplied with a specific hand part. This accessory allows him to be displayed as he activates his Nen, with the book open in one hand and his other arm free. It directly references the ability that enables him to retain and utilise the powers stolen from other Nen users.
Several interchangeable faces and sets of hands complete the set. These allow you to subtly vary his expression, from his usual calm demeanour to a more stern or focused look. The manufacturer provides three additional faces and three pairs of interchangeable wrists, in addition to the parts for the book and pockets.

Character’s origin and universe
Chrollo Lucilfer is the founder and leader of the Phantom Troupe, a particularly feared group of thieves in the Hunter × Hunter universe. He symbolically holds the position of Member Number Zero and is one of the main antagonists of the Yorknew City arc.
The Phantom Troupe is also known as the Spider. Each member represents a leg of this organisation, whilst Chrollo embodies its head. This structure explains his very particular view of the group: the survival of the Spider must always take precedence over that of any individual, including its own leader.
Chrollo is characterised by his extremely calm demeanour. He rarely speaks hastily, carefully analyses his opponents and maintains a detached demeanour even in the heat of battle. This composure contrasts with the violence of the operations carried out by the Phantom Brigade.
Under his command, the group attacks the clandestine auction in Yorknew City. Chrollo then orders his members to steal the items on display and eliminate anyone who attempts to stop them. This operation brings the Phantom Troupe directly into conflict with Kurapika, whose clan was once massacred by the group.
Chrollo is a Specialisation-type Nen user. His most iconic ability allows him to steal other users’ techniques and store them in a materialised book. To use a stolen ability, he must normally open the book to the relevant page and fulfil several specific conditions.
This ability makes him a particularly difficult fighter to anticipate. Unlike users associated with a single technique, Chrollo can select different abilities depending on the situation, prepare complex combinations and exploit his opponent’s weaknesses.
The book included with the figurine is therefore much more than just a visual accessory. It represents not only his power and his fighting style, but also his almost intellectual fascination with the Nen abilities he encounters.
Chrollo also possesses excellent physical abilities. He is fast and resilient enough to take on both Zeno and Silva Zoldyck – two highly experienced assassins – simultaneously. During this fight, he seeks as much to observe their abilities as to ensure his own survival.
His relationship with the Phantom Troupe reveals a more complex personality than his aloof demeanour would suggest. He accepts the idea of dying to ensure the group’s survival, but is deeply affected when some of his comrades are lost.
His conflict with Kurapika takes centre stage during the Yorknew arc. Kurapika uses his chains to neutralise Chrollo’s Nen, temporarily preventing him from communicating with the other members of the Phantom Troupe. The leader thus finds himself stripped of his powers and forced to seek out an exorcist capable of lifting this restriction.
Later, Chrollo regains the use of his Nen and develops new ways of combining his stolen abilities. In particular, he uses a bookmark that allows him to keep a technique active without having to keep the book open at all times, greatly expanding the possibilities offered by his power.
The pose with his hands in his pockets perfectly sums up his temperament: an elegant, relaxed and almost aloof demeanour. The pose with the open book, by contrast, reveals the strategist capable of transforming several stolen techniques into a methodical and often deadly plan.
This S.H.Figuarts figure thus brings together the key elements of Chrollo’s identity. The flowing cape accentuates his silhouette as a charismatic leader, the interchangeable faces reflect his subtle shifts in attitude, and the physical book allows you to recreate one of the most versatile Nen abilities in Hunter × Hunter.
