Frequently asked questions about Outwell
- How many people fit in the tent?
- The number in the name indicates people packed tightly. For comfort with luggage, choose one place more than the number sleeping.
- What does hydrostatic head mean?
- It measures fabric waterproofing in millimetres. Above 2000mm covers normal rain, above 3000mm heavy rain.
- Does the cooler work in a car?
- 12V models do, from the cigarette lighter. Note that with the engine off it will drain the car battery.
- What temperature does a sleeping bag handle?
- Every bag has a comfort and an extreme rating. Choose by the comfort temperature, not the extreme.
