IMOU – Security cameras & doorbells
Surveillance systems company
IMOU makes security cameras for home and business: indoor and outdoor models, PoE versions, pan-and-tilt cameras and wireless video doorbells.
It covers resolutions from 3MP to 8MP and also produces the microSD cards required — designed for continuous recording, which ordinary cards do not withstand.

Frequently asked questions about IMOU
- Which memory card do I need?
- A microSD designed for continuous writing. Ordinary cards wear out within months under 24-hour recording — which is why IMOU makes its own.
- What is PoE?
- Power over the network cable. The camera takes power and data from one cable — but you need a PoE switch or injector.
- Is a subscription needed?
- Not for basic operation — recording is local to the card. Cloud is optional.
- What is a pan-and-tilt camera?
- It moves horizontally and vertically from the app, covering a whole room rather than a fixed angle.
