HSM (Hermann Schwelling Maschinenbau) was founded more than 45 years ago by Hermann Schwelling, with one idea: reducing the volume of materials.
That led to baler presses, which return paper, cardboard, film and PET to the recycling system as bales of material, cutting volume by up to 95%. The first press of 1972, with a 6-tonne pressing force, grew into a full range reaching 150 tonnes. In parallel, HSM developed shredders for paper and data storage media — CDs, credit cards and hard drives.
- Document shredders for office and professional use
- Destruction of CDs, cards and hard drives
- Baler presses for recycling
- German manufacturing, family-run company
