Canon – Printers, ink & imaging
Japanese company since 1937
Canon is among the world's largest printer manufacturers: inkjet multifunction devices, i-SENSYS laser printers for the office and the MAXIFY range for business volume.

Frequently asked questions about Canon
- What is the MAXIFY GX range?
- Printers with refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges. They cost more to buy, but cost per page is many times lower.
- Laser or inkjet?
- Laser pays off for volume black-and-white printing and does not dry out if left unused. Inkjet prints photos better and costs less to buy.
- Which ink do I need?
- Consumables are model-specific. The code is printed on the old cartridge — PG-560, for example.
- What does XL mean on ink?
- A high-yield cartridge. It costs more but has a clearly lower cost per page than the standard one.
