It is the simplest question in the whole shop – and it settles most gifts here.
The two brothers are told apart by colour alone. Even a four-year-old knows it:
If the child has a preference, they will say it immediately. And it is one of the rare times the answer needs no explanation at all.
There are of course the others too: Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Toad. But if you know nothing at all, Mario never misses.
