Many anime categories need care: they look childlike and are not.
Haikyu!! is the exact opposite case.
It is a sports series about school volleyball. No violence, no dark content, nothing that needs a warning. The story is about training, teamwork and not giving up.
It works from eight to eighty – and it is one of the few series a whole family can watch together.

The anime, however, continues. After four seasons, the series moved into films: the first, "The Dumpster Battle", arrived in 2024.
The next is called "vs. The Little Giant" and adapts one of the most loved matches in the entire series.
It arrives in 2027 – not this year. A trailer is out and the year is confirmed, but no exact date.
It will be released alongside a special episode covering another important match.
For collecting, nothing changes. Because the manga is finished, the character list is final – no new players will appear. A Haikyu!! collection can actually be completed.
