The case must fit the exact model, the glass the right screen type, and the charger the right power. Everything that keeps your phone safe and charged, without unnecessary purchases.
Cases: only for the exact model
Every phone generation moves the cameras and buttons, so a case for the previous model almost never fits. The exact name is under Settings → About phone. Choose from the phone cases using the model filter.
For basic protection a clear TPU case is enough. For drops, a hybrid with reinforced corners. A wallet case protects the screen too.
Tempered glass or film?
On a flat screen, tempered glass is the best protection. On a screen with curved edges, a hydrogel film or glass made for that model, because flat glass lifts at the sides. Do not forget the camera: lens protectors cost very little. Everything under screen protection.
Chargers: power matters
Modern phones fast-charge over USB-C Power Delivery. Check the wattage your phone supports and pick a charger of equal or higher power. GaN chargers are smaller for the same power. For wireless charging, the new Qi2 standard attaches magnetically. See the chargers and cables.
