Soy wax in flakes, 100% vegan. Perfect for those of you who want to cast their own candles in jars. Produce 80–90% less soot than traditional candles. Melting temperature: 50–55 °C. Add dye and/or fragrance, for example. Drying time: 4 hours. Curing time: 48 hours before use . It's easy to cast beautiful soy candles in containers using our soy wax. Soy wax burns clean so it produces far less soot than traditional candles. As the wax comes in flakes, it's easy to measure out the exact amount when casting. If you like, you can also add colour and scent to your candles. First, melt the wax in a water bath (using a pan of water on the hob) or in a microwave at 80% strength at 30-second intervals. Then, mix in the fragrance and colour and stick a wick to the bottom of the jar using a little glue or liquid wax. Finally, pour in the melted mixture.
