The elven mage Frieren joins Banpresto’s Sitting Figure collection with this figurine inspired by the series *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End*. The character is depicted in a peaceful, seated pose, reflecting her calm temperament and the contemplative nature of her journey.

Frieren has her knees drawn up against her body, in a compact pose that allows the figurine to be displayed directly on the edge of a shelf, a piece of furniture or a desk. Her gentle, slightly pensive expression conveys her reserved personality as well as her unique relationship with time and memories.

The sculpture captures her long silver hair, pointed ears and white outfit with gold trim. The individual strands of hair, the folds of her clothing and the details of her face faithfully recreate the heroine’s appearance in the anime.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End begins after the defeat of the Demon King. Frieren was part of a group of heroes comprising the warrior Himmel, the priest Heiter and the dwarf Eisen, with whom she travelled for ten years before restoring peace to the world.

For her human companions, this adventure represents a major part of their lives. For Frieren, who belongs to a species that lives for several centuries, these ten years initially seem to be just a brief episode amongst many others.

After leaving the group, Frieren resumes her magical studies and promises to meet up with her former companions again. When she returns several decades later, she discovers that Himmel has become an old man. His death makes her realise that she never really sought to understand the man who had, after all, shared such a pivotal adventure with her.

Frieren then embarks on a new journey to gain a better understanding of humans, their feelings and the way their memories shape their lives. She is accompanied by Fern, a young mage raised by Heiter, and later by Stark, Eisen’s former pupil.

A particularly ancient and powerful mage, Frieren possesses exceptional knowledge of spells and the fight against demons. However, she prefers to collect spells that are sometimes very ordinary or unusual, such as those used to carry out small everyday tasks.

Her apparent indifference stems mainly from her elven perception of time. Frieren can devote several years to a single quest without considering this period to be particularly long. Through her interactions with Fern, Stark and the people she meets on her journey, she gradually learns to place greater importance on the moments they share.

The seated pose of this figurine reflects this introspective side of the character. Frieren appears still and silent, as if she were observing the passage of time or recalling a scene she once experienced with Himmel and her companions.
