Ginevra Molly Potter (née Weasley), known as Ginny, is the youngest child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She is also the first girl in the Weasley family for seven generations. She entered Hogwarts in 1992 in the house of Gryffindor. In her first year, she was possessed by the memory of Tom Jedusor in a diary. She is a chaser and catcher for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She was also a member of Dumbledore's army and took part in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, the Battle of the Astronomy Tower and the Battle of Hogwarts.
