William Arthur Weasley, known as Bill, is the eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley. After graduating from Gryffindor, he worked as a spellbreaker for Gringotts Bank, first in Egypt and then in England when the Order of the Phoenix reformed when Voldemort was reborn in 1995. He met Fleur Delacour and they soon became engaged. During the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, Bill was attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, who was in human form at the time. He does not become a werewolf, but develops certain tendencies, such as a taste for rare steaks. Bill and Fleur married on 1 August 1997 and moved into the Shell House, where they helped Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger after their escape from Malfoy Manor. He took part in the Battle of Hogwarts with the Order of the Phoenix.
