Short description
Hogwarts School was founded by four great wizards, each of whom gave their name to one of the houses. Helga Hufflepuff was one of the founders, and gave Hufflepuff House the colour yellow and the badger emblem. This animal is often underestimated because it seems harmless, but as soon as it feels threatened it can become a formidable adversary!
Each founder is associated with an object, and for Helga Hufflepuss it is her cup.
This cup represents a badger, and has two finely sculpted handles. It is golden in colour, reminiscent of the yellow emblem of Hufflepuff House.
Once owned by Hepzibah Smith, a descendant of Helga Hufflepuff, the cup was turned into a Horcrux. was turned into a Horcrux by Lord Voldemort. It was entrusted to Bellatrix Lestrange, who hid it in a safe in the Gringotts bank, and it was eventually destroyed by Hermione with a basilisk fang.
Small cup with two finely chiselled handles, decorated with a badger, Helga's emblem Hufflepuff.
It measures approximately 13 cm.
The bowl has a small hole in the bottom to prevent it from being used as a container.
Seen in ''Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2''.
