Star Ocean: First Departure R is an HD remaster of the classic sci-fi RPG. It follows a young swordsman, Roddick, and his allies, who set out in search of a cure to a deadly disease. But their quest quickly turns into a much grander adventure, taking them on an epic journey across the sea of stars. This enhanced version includes new character illustrations, fully-voiced cutscenes in both English and Japanese, speed mode for quicker movement, and adjusted battle difficulty. Players can choose between different voiceover options and character art styles, providing a fresh experience for both newcomers and returning fans
