Character background and lore

Tigger is one of the most exuberant inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. Disney describes him as a boisterous, enthusiastic and one-of-a-kind character, always keen to share his energy with those around him, whether his friends are ready to keep up with him or not.

His personality is inseparable from the way he leaps onto his tail, a trait that has become one of his most distinctive features. He regularly shares his adventures with Winnie, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Little Guru and the other inhabitants of the forest. His boundless enthusiasm can sometimes cause a few complications, but he remains deeply devoted to his friends.

Tigger takes centre stage in *The Tigger Movie*, in which he sets off in search of other members of his family before gradually realising that his true family are the friends who already surround him in the Hundred Acre Wood. Disney counts this film amongst its major releases.
