SPIDER-MAN BRAND NEW DAY - Hulk - Minico Mini Figure 14cm

Iron Studios’ MiniCo collection welcomes the Hulk in a new stylised interpretation inspired by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day universe. This statue, approximately 14 cm tall, depicts the Jade Giant in a massive and dynamic pose, with the deliberately exaggerated proportions characteristic of the MiniCo range. -

The Hulk is depicted crouching amidst rubble, with both hands braced in front of him and his body leaning forward. His imposing musculature dominates the composition, whilst his contorted face, furrowed brow and clenched teeth immediately convey his power and anger. His green skin, black hair and dark trousers reflect the character’s traditional visual style. -

The base consists of chunks of rock and broken structures, giving the impression that the Hulk has just caused an impact or forced his way through his surroundings. Despite his cartoonish proportions, the model retains detailed sculpting of the musculature and a hand-painted finish. At 19.3 cm wide, this MiniCo has a greater visual presence than its height of 14 cm might suggest.-

Character background and universe (Lore)

The Hulk is the alter ego of the scientist Bruce Banner. After being exposed to a high dose of gamma radiation, Banner gains the ability to transform into a gigantic green creature endowed with extraordinary strength. Marvel describes the character as torn between the calm, intellectual personality of the scientist and the uncontrollable power of the Hulk, fuelled in particular by his anger.

Created in Marvel comics, the Hulk gradually became one of the major figures in the publisher’s universe, appearing both as a hero and as a force that is difficult to control. His physical strength, resilience and explosive temper are his most recognisable traits, which this MiniCo captures through an extremely massive silhouette, an aggressive expression and a setting shattered beneath his weight.

The term ‘Brand New Day’ refers to a significant period in Spider-Man’s adventures, which began in *The Amazing Spider-Man* in 2008 following the events of *One More Day*. Marvel describes this period as a fresh start for Peter Parker, featuring a new status quo, new adversaries and several encounters with established characters from the Marvel Universe. Iron Studios links this version of the Hulk to this comic book universe and, at the same time, offers a ‘Brand New Day’ Spider-Man MiniCo, allowing both characters to be displayed together.
