LUPIN THE 3RD THE ITALIAN ADVENTURE - Lupin Jigen - Statue 1/18 14cm

LUPIN THE 3RD: THE ITALIAN ADVENTURE – Lupin & Jigen – 1/18 scale figurine, 14 cm

Infinite Statue & Collectibles brings the colourful world of Lupin the 3rd: The Italian Adventure to life in this 1/18 scale figurine, featuring Lupin III and his faithful sidekick Daisuke Jigen in their little yellow Fiat 500. Inspired by the franchise’s fourth animated television series, this piece adopts a cartoon-style design intended to capture the energy and humour of the car chases that punctuate their adventures in Italy.

The scene depicts Lupin in his signature blue jacket, sitting alongside Jigen in the little car as it speeds along. The vehicle is shown in full motion on a sculpted base, with a dynamic composition evoking their races through the streets of Rome, Venice, Florence and San Marino. The resin sculpture is entirely hand-painted, with a colourful finish that closely matches the look of the animation.

Measuring approximately 24 cm wide, 10 cm deep and 14 cm high, this piece forms a veritable miniature diorama despite its 1/18 scale.

Origin and backstory of the character (Lore)

Created by Monkey Punch, Lupin III is a gentleman thief known for his spectacular heists, his disguises and his talent for evading the police. He is regularly accompanied by Daisuke Jigen, a sharpshooter recognisable by his hat and revolver. Together, they form the core of the gang alongside Goemon Ishikawa XIII and Fujiko Mine.

Lupin the 3rd Part IV: The Italian Adventure is an animated series produced in 2015, set primarily in Italy and San Marino. This period of the franchise is particularly recognisable by Lupin’s blue jacket, which replaces the green, red or pink jackets worn in other incarnations of the character.

The series follows the classic structure of Lupin’s adventures: burglaries, chases, confrontations with criminals or Inspector Zenigata, and improvised plans across several Italian cities. It also introduces new characters, notably Rebecca Rossellini, whilst retaining the core members of the original team.

Infinite Statue has chosen to capture this world in a scene that is particularly representative of this series: Lupin and Jigen speeding off in their little yellow Fiat 500. The vehicle’s posture, the characters’ expressions and the vivid colours all aim to capture the pace of the car chases and the adventurous tone of *The Italian Adventure*.
