This Banpresto figurine depicts Tsumu Kitsune, the fox version of Atsumu Miya from Haikyu!!. Part of the Fluffy Puffy collection, it measures approximately 9 cm and features a flocked finish that gives it a soft, velvety texture. Banpresto officially identifies Tsumu Kitsune as the animalised interpretation of Atsumu, the setter from Inarizaki.
Tsumu Kitsune takes the form of a small, seated fox with rounded, simplified features. Its fur is mainly beige, with white paw tips and a large tail standing upright behind it, white on top and beige at the tip. Its tall, pointed ears and small black snout immediately emphasise its fox-like appearance.
The design incorporates several of Atsumu Miya’s distinctive features. A blonde fringe covers the top of his head, accompanied by a darker patch on the side reminiscent of his hairstyle. His half-closed eyes and slight smile give him a mischievous and self-assured expression, in keeping with the player’s personality in the series. The flocked finish covers a large part of the body to emphasise the soft, animal-like appearance of this ‘Fluffy Puffy’ version.
This version can be paired with Samu Kitsune, the fox-themed representation of Osamu Miya, available separately in the same collection. The duo features an official design previously used for the Miya brothers in Haikyu!! merchandise: the anime’s official website notably mentioned a set of ‘Atsumu Fox & Osamu Fox’ mini mascots amongst the products linked to Haikyu!! To the Top.

Character background and lore
Tsumu Kitsune is not a transformation of Atsumu Miya featured in the Haikyu!! storyline, but an official mascot variant that depicts the player in the form of a fox. This design has featured in the series’ merchandise for several years, with Atsumu and his twin brother Osamu notably appearing as a pair of matching foxes.
Atsumu Miya is the setter for the Inarizaki High School team and one of the most remarkable players Karasuno has faced. During *Haikyu!! To the Top*, he takes part in the national training camp for young players, where he meets Tobio Kageyama. The official website describes him in this context as the country’s best high school setter, and his technical ability, the quality of his serves and his competitive spirit make him one of Karasuno’s main rivals in the national tournament.
Together with his twin brother Osamu, Atsumu forms the famous Miya brothers. During the match between Inarizaki and Karasuno, the pair notably manage to replicate Hinata and Kageyama’s quick attack, demonstrating their exceptional coordination and adaptability. The Tsumu Kitsune version captures this confident and slightly provocative personality in a small fox mascot with a mischievous look.
