In the world of Frieren
In the fantasy world of Frieren, the story begins where epic adventures usually end. Frieren is an elven mage who was part of the group of heroes that defeated the Demon King at the end of a ten-year quest. With a lifespan spanning millennia, time passes differently for her, which has long made her feel detached from the emotions and mortality of her human companions. Following the death of Himmel, the group’s leader, Frieren realises the brevity of human life and regrets not having sought to get to know him better. She then embarks on a new journey across the world to learn more about the human heart, collect trivial spells and honour the memory of her former friends.
