Standing approximately 14 cm tall, this limited-edition first production run depicts the character in his vest, featuring a new sculpt and a redesigned articulation system to offer a wider range of posing options.

The figure comes with 6 pairs of interchangeable hands, 4 facial expressions, 2 alternative hairpieces recreating different movement effects, as well as a pair of interchangeable thighs allowing you to pose Trunks with his hands in his pockets. His sword and sheath are also included, whilst the head and face parts are compatible with the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Trunks – The Boy from the Future –, sold separately.

This Limited Edition also includes the Z-Fighters Group Base Ver. B, a diorama piece designed to be combined with bases A and C, which are available with other figures in the series, to recreate a display inspired by the Dragon Ball Z opening sequence.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma and one of the major characters in Dragon Ball Z. The version depicted here is the Trunks from the future, who travelled to the main timeline to warn Goku and his companions of the imminent threat posed by the cyborgs.

A half-Saiyan warrior, Trunks is notable for his swordsmanship and his ability to transform into a Super Saiyan. Following his initial warning, he plays a direct part in the events surrounding the cyborgs and Cell, fighting alongside Vegeta and the other Z-Fighters.

This outfit, featuring a vest, is associated with this period of the story, during which Trunks trains intensively to increase his power and alter the future from which he came. His combination of determination, respect for his fellow warriors and determination to save his world makes him one of the most beloved characters in the Cell Saga.
