DC COMICS - Superman & Krypto - Minico Mini Figure 17 cm

DC COMICS – Superman & Krypto – MiniCo – 17 cm figure

Iron Studios’ MiniCo collection brings together Superman and Krypto in a stylised figurine inspired by the 2025 film *Superman*. Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, this piece depicts the Man of Steel accompanied by his faithful Kryptonian dog in a dynamic pose.

Superman is depicted in motion, his right fist raised and his red cape billowing behind him. His blue costume features the iconic red and yellow emblem on his chest, complemented by a yellow belt and red boots. At his side, Krypto leaps forward with an enthusiastic expression, his white coat and golden collar contrasting with the bright colours of Superman’s costume. The two figures stand on a translucent blue-green base sculpted to resemble a cluster of crystals, which enhances the sense of movement in the scene.

The MiniCo style favours deliberately exaggerated proportions, with larger heads and accentuated expressions, whilst retaining the characters’ instantly recognisable features. The statue is made from PVC and designed as a compact decorative piece for a collection dedicated to Superman, DC Comics or Iron Studios figurines.

Origin and character lore

Superman, also known as Clark Kent / Kal-El, is one of the founding heroes of the DC Universe. Originally from the planet Krypton, he grew up on Earth and developed extraordinary abilities under the yellow sun. DC presents him as the ‘Man of Steel’, committed to a constant struggle for truth, justice and a better future.

Krypto is the Superman family’s canine companion. Also originally from Krypton, he possesses powers comparable to those of Kryptonians under a yellow sun, whilst retaining the loyal and energetic behaviour of a dog. DC officially describes him as a loyal companion and ally to the entire Superman Family.

The figurine specifically captures their appearance in *Superman*, the film written and directed by James Gunn, released in July 2025. Krypto plays a prominent role alongside the hero in the film, and Iron Studios has chosen to emphasise their bond rather than a fight scene: Superman leaps into action whilst his companion bounds joyfully alongside him.
