BLOODSPORT – Chong Li – Icon X 1/10 Scale Figure, 19.8 cm

Infinite Statue & Collectibles has dedicated an Icon X figurine to Chong Li, the formidable fighter portrayed by Bolo Yeung in the cult film *Bloodsport*. Crafted on a 1/10 scale, this static PVC figure depicts the Kumite champion in an imposing fighting stance, ready to be displayed alongside the Frank Dux model from the same collection.

The sculpture faithfully reproduces Chong Li’s massive build and menacing expression as seen in the film. The figure stands approximately 19.8 cm tall and rests on a themed display base, complemented by a cardboard backdrop evoking the Kumite arena. Two interchangeable heads are included to allow for different expressions when on display.

Chong Li is one of the first releases in the Icon X range, launched by Infinite Statue to depict iconic film characters in an accessible 1/10 scale. The figure is designed as the direct counterpart to Frank Dux, allowing the two adversaries from *Bloodsport* to be displayed together.

Character background and lore

Chong Li is the main antagonist in *Bloodsport*, a martial arts film released in 1988. Played by Bolo Yeung, he is portrayed as the reigning champion of the Kumite, an underground tournament held in Hong Kong that brings together fighters from various disciplines. His physical strength, intimidating demeanour and brutality make him the opponent the other participants seek to avoid.

During the tournament, Chong Li encounters Frank Dux, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, whose performances quickly catch his attention. Their rivalry intensifies when Dux breaks his record for the fastest knockout. Chong Li then faces Dux’s friend, Ray Jackson, and seriously injures him, further fuelling the confrontation between the two fighters ahead of their final bout.

Chong Li thus became one of the most recognisable figures in *Bloodsport* and 1980s martial arts cinema. The Icon X figure accurately captures his appearance as a Kumite fighter, whilst its base and backdrop allow it to be paired directly with the Frank Dux figure to visually recreate their iconic showdown.
