Set out on a classic Mario adventure! Enter—or revisit—a world of whimsy with Mario on a quest to repair Star Road and defeat the troublemaking Smithy Gang. Team up with a party of unlikely allies, like the monstrous Bowser and a mysterious doll named Geno, in a story-rich RPG packed with laughs and quirky characters. Journey through labyrinth-like forests, spooky sewers, fast-flowing rivers and more as you search for the scattered pieces of the Star Road and aim to restore peace to a world where wishes come true.
Take on enemies in turn-based battles, collect treasure from chests, and enjoy a variety of mini games such as racing with Yoshi, shooting Koopa shells, and more. Stop for a chat with the locals—enjoy quirky dialogues and pick up helpful advice for your adventure. Face the many minions of the weapon-like Smithy Gang who want world domination and have unleashed their metallic menace upon the land.
Time button presses in battles to maximize damage or avoid attacks using the Action Commands system. Every successful action fills the Action Gauge, and when full, you can unleash extremely powerful Triple Moves that change based on your current party composition. Every party member has unique Special moves, and leveling up unlocks further offensive or defensive abilities. Discover items, weapons, and armor to boost your party, replay mini-games for rewards, and challenge bosses with new, higher difficulty after completing the story.
Enjoy the reimagined world: enhanced graphics, new CGI cutscenes, a choice between remastered and classic soundtracks, and a story of teamwork, discovery, and saving the Mushroom Kingdom from a new, metal-plated threat.
