Shining Resonance Refrain tells the story of Yuma and his friends fighting the Empire. This release marks the grand return of the Shining series to the West after a decade of absence.

A remaster with the new Refrain mode
Shining Resonance Refrain is the remaster of Shining Resonance, which was released exclusively in Japan on PlayStation® 3. This remaster offers the choice between English and Japanese dubs. In addition to all the downloadable content from the original game, which you can play in the "original mode", Shining Resonance Refrain includes a brand new "Refrain Mode", which unlocks Imperial Princess Excella and Jinas Dragon Slayer as members of the party.

Master the BAND
The Dragoniers use the Armonics, ancient instruments as weapons, to activate powerful rune songs. Once you've collected enough Battle Performance Mana (BPM), your group can play together with BAND. Depending on the song you play and the character playing the central role, your group will gain different beneficial effects.

The Basics of History
