Origin and background of the licence (Lore)

Beyblade is a franchise centred on customisable spinning top battles between players known as Bladers. Originally launched in Japan in the late 1990s, it has expanded to include toys, manga, animated series and competitions, with each generation introducing new top systems and battle mechanics.

Beyblade X represents a new evolution of the franchise. This generation places particular emphasis on speed and dynamic battles thanks to the Xtreme Dash system, which allows compatible tops to accelerate sharply when they come into contact with the specialised track in Beyblade X arenas.

The spinning tops in the range can be used to experiment with different battle strategies, whether they prioritise attack, defence, endurance or balance. The concept of customisation and direct confrontation thus remains at the heart of the Beyblade experience, with the ultimate aim of finding the combination capable of dominating the arena.
