Product type: Figure This plastic model kit allows you to faithfully recreate the legendary T-65 X-Wing starfighter in the colours of the New Republic fleet. This specific model is directly inspired by the patrol ship piloted by Captain Carson Teva in the globally successful TV series *The Mandalorian*. 
The model incorporates the stylistic and technical features of the Revell Model Set range. It combines great ease of assembly with excellent attention to detail on a 1/57 scale. The mechanical model faithfully captures the ship’s aggressive design, with its movable wings mounted on mechanical pivots capable of opening into the ‘X’ attack position. It faithfully reproduces the fighter’s distinctive physical features, including the four ion engines, the wing-tip laser cannons and the characteristic tapered nose. The model offers a choice of two display configurations, allowing it to be assembled with the landing gear extended or retracted in a hovering configuration.
Designed primarily for beginners to model-making or for display on a shelf, this collectable item is supplied in an all-in-one ‘Model Set’ box. Its original cardboard packaging contains all the sprues of parts as well as the essential accessories for immediate assembly, including special glue with a needle applicator, a paintbrush and pots of basic acrylic paint.

Origin and background of the spacecraft (Lore)

In the Star Wars universe, the T-65 X-Wing fighter is the military mainstay of the Rebel Alliance, famous for destroying both Death Stars. Following the fall of the Galactic Empire, these versatile craft were salvaged and modernised by the New Republic’s defence fleet to maintain order across the galaxy. During the era of reconstruction, Captain and veteran Carson Teva uses his assigned X-Wing to carry out high-risk reconnaissance missions in the Outer Rim. Whilst patrolling these remote and lawless sectors, Teva regularly crosses paths with the Mandalorian Din Djarin, tracking down clandestine Imperial remnants and pirate networks that threaten the fragile Republic peace. This official model celebrates this iconic vehicle, a symbol of freedom and justice throughout the science-fiction saga.
