Origin and world of the character
Jin Kougasaki is a major character from the dark fantasy action manga Tougen Anki (also spelt Tougan Anki), created by Yura Urushibara. The story takes place in Japan against the backdrop of a secret war between descendants of the Oni (demons) and Momotaro (demon hunters). In this universe, individuals of Oni blood have the ability to materialise their own blood in the form of destructive weapons. Jin Kougasaki is a rigorous student at the Luo Academy, a confidential structure designed to train and protect the new generation of Oni. He stands out for his calm temperament, constant seriousness and advanced technical mastery of his blood powers. He fights actively alongside the protagonist Mikado Momodera to counter the extremist assaults of the opposing clan.
