Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Released in 2002, the animated film Lilo & Stitch tells the story of an alien creature genetically modified to be indestructible and destroy everything in its path. Stranded on the island of Hawaii, this miniature monster is mistaken for a dog and adopted by little Lilo, who names him Stitch. Through the music of Elvis Presley, walks by the ocean and rigorous training in the concept of "Ohana" - which means that no one should be left behind or forgotten - Stitch's destructive fury subsides. His ukulele playing becomes the poetic symbol of his transformation into a loyal and protective companion, capable of finding his own place and his true family on Earth.
