Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Introduced by Sanrio in 2005 in the animated series Onegai My Melody, Kuromi is a small anthropomorphic white rabbit wearing a black jester's hat. Although she has a punkish, rebellious and mischievous style that often sets her up as a rival to the very sweet My Melody, Kuromi hides a deeply romantic, sensitive temperament and a strong love of writing in her diary. The Sanrio universe is famous for its waves of themed collections featuring its flagship characters in cute, quirky(kawaii) outfits. This cow cosplay is just one example, adding a touch of pastoral fantasy and sweetness to the usually dark and rebellious look of this little pop culture icon.
