Origin and character lore

Hello Kitty, whose full name is Kitty White, is a character created by Sanrio. She was born in the suburbs of London and lives with her parents and her twin sister Mimmy, whom she considers her best friend. She loves baking biscuits, meeting new people and regularly reminds us that you can never have too many friends.

Recognisable by the bow near her left ear, Hello Kitty has become one of the leading ambassadors of the kawaii world. Her stories generally highlight friendship, kindness, creativity and the little pleasures of everyday life.

Cinnamoroll is a little white puppy born high up in the sky. His long ears allow him to fly, and his curled tail resembles a cinnamon roll, which is where his name comes from. Shy but particularly friendly, he lives with the staff at Café Cinnamon and loves meeting new people.

Pompompurin is a Golden Retriever with a calm and affectionate nature. He is easily recognisable by his brown beret and his love of desserts, particularly caramel pudding, which inspired his name. He spends much of his time with his friends or in his favourite basket.
