Origin and character background
Shion is one of the major characters in the universe of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura), the best-selling light novel written by Fuse. Originally from the Ogre race, she evolves into a Kijin (a divine ogre) after being named by the protagonist Limule Tempest, to whom she is utterly loyal and deeply devoted. Appointed as Limule’s chief secretary and official bodyguard, she is distinguished by her tied-back purple hair, her single horn on her forehead, and her legendary inability to cook edible meals, despite her best efforts. Behind her elegant businesswoman appearance lies a fighter of Herculean physical strength, capable of wielding her immense "Odachi" sword to defeat any enemy.
