Origin and universe of the character

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Battle Tendency is the second part of Hirohiko Araki’s series. The story follows Joseph Joestar, grandson of Jonathan Joestar, as he faces off against the fearsome Pillar Men, an ancient race endowed with extraordinary strength, intelligence and longevity.

Kars is the leader of the Pillar Men and one of the most dangerous antagonists in the saga. Intelligent, ambitious and ruthless, he seeks to transcend the limits of his species through the Red Stone of Aja and the stone mask. His aim is to attain an ultimate form, free from the weaknesses that still hold his people back.
