The History and Lore of the Object
The sole male survivor of his family, slaughtered by the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji, Tanjiro Kamado took up arms for one indomitable purpose: to find a cure for his sister Nezuko, who had been transformed into a demon. Trained in the rigorous technique of the Breath of Water by master Sakonji Urokodaki, his battles also awaken the legendary Dance of the God of Fire (Hinokami Kagura), a family heritage linked to the very origins of slayers. His extraordinary sense of empathy, resilience in the face of suffering and uprightness make him a unique hero and a symbol of hope in the face of the Twelve Demonic Moons.
This figurine showcases the young warrior's martial stature, sublimated by the moving postures and great sense of relief that characterise the Maximatic collection. It faithfully reproduces his kimono with its iconic green and black chequered pattern, his characteristic forehead scar, his protective Hanafuda earrings and his Black Sun katana.
