The future war
The year is 2123 AD and the Xenes Federation is waging an all-out war against the neighboring Republic of Sanlar. To address this dire situation, the President of Sanlar issues a special order to the 12th Special Armoured Corps. Despite being comprised of troublemakers and delinquents, this unit, known commonly as the 12th Armoured, is renowned for overcoming even the most insurmountable odds.

Assault Suit Leynos 2 is the 32-bit sequel to the 1990 game Assault Suit Leynos (known as Target Earth in the US) for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It's a side-scrolling shooter where players pilot the Leynos assault suit against a relentless mechanized army, featuring a hard-boiled story and robot-anime inspired gameplay. Assault Suit Leynos spawned the beloved spinoff Assault Suit Valken (known as Cybernator) that is set in the same universe. It was released for the Super NES™ in 1992 and is a must-have for every fan of 2D robot action!
