The adorable aliens from Toy Story are joining in for teatime with this Alien’s Tea Time Series set designed by Beast Kingdom. Part of the Mini Egg Attack collection, this series pairs the famous green aliens from Pizza Planet with a variety of desserts inspired by Western and Asian pastries.

Each figurine features the Alien’s distinctive appearance: green skin, three eyes, pointed ears and a blue spacesuit adorned with the Pizza Planet logo. The characters are depicted here with colourful treats, in humorous poses perfect for display on a shelf, a desk or next to a tea set.

Origin and character lore

In the Toy Story universe, the Aliens are small, green, three-eyed alien toys. They first appear in a claw machine at Pizza Planet, where they live crammed into a compartment resembling a spaceship.

The Aliens regard the mechanical claw as a higher power capable of choosing who will leave the machine. As it descends towards them, they raise their arms and exclaim in unison with admiration, convinced that the chosen one will be led to an exceptional destiny.

Woody and Buzz Lightyear meet them when they accidentally find themselves inside the Pizza Planet machine. One of the Aliens is snatched up at the same time as them by Sid Phillips, Andy’s young neighbour known for taking his toys apart and modifying them.

Several Aliens then reappear in *Toy Story 2*, where they travel aboard the Pizza Planet delivery van. They are saved from a fall by Mr Potato Head and develop a deep sense of gratitude towards him.

Mrs Potato Head then decides to adopt them. The three Aliens become regular members of the toy family and accompany Woody, Buzz and their friends on their subsequent adventures. Disney describes them as three green alien toys who now revere the Potatoes, having once placed all their trust in the claw.

Their personalities are defined by their collective behaviour, their naivety and their enthusiasm. They often speak in unison, repeat the same phrases and react with wonder to even the most ordinary events.

This ‘Tea Time’ series transposes their curiosity into a world of sweet treats. In it, the Aliens discover a variety of pastries whilst retaining their look of wonder and cheerful demeanour, creating a decorative collection that combines the humour of *Toy Story* with the colourful aesthetic of miniature desserts.
